Challenge

ZhongAuto set out to create a universal marketplace for auto parts trade between CIS countries and China, serving both B2B clients (manufacturers, wholesalers, dealerships, auto services) and B2C consumers. The platform needed to unite three distinct user experiences: an admin panel, a seller dashboard for Chinese partners, and a buyer portal.

The project faced significant challenges that traditional e-commerce solutions couldn't address:

Solution

CICADA implemented a comprehensive AI-powered platform with three interconnected systems. The neural network translation engine automatically translates product descriptions, reviews, and chat messages between Chinese and Russian, enabling seamless communication between sellers and buyers.

A sophisticated fraud detection system uses machine learning to analyze listing content, images, and pricing anomalies. Each listing receives a risk score, and suspicious items are automatically flagged for manual review. Computer vision technology enables photo-based part search, allowing buyers to simply upload an image to find matching products.

The platform integrates secure escrow services for safe transactions, WeChat and messenger APIs for real-time communication, and logistics tracking for cross-border shipments. Personalized recommendations powered by ML help buyers discover relevant parts based on their vehicle and purchase history.
